All "read" the date of date: February 2013, however. also good to know the date of production, maybe they were produced 5 years earlier ....
If I buy a box of tomatoes can be seen that expires in 2013 ..... but if I see that the can was produced in December .. . I reasonable assurance that has been used frozen tomatoes.
Instead of writing clearly the date of production (such as the expiration date), the Ministry of Productive Activities lets you use a code that enables the traceability of the product in case of "trouble."
The code consists of a letter and a series of numbers. The letter indicates the year and the numbers on canning.
Each year by January-February-max, the Ministry indicates the "letter" for the year just started ... here is the series of the last four years:
2010 N ; R 2009 2008 A 2007 C
So my bald that has the symbol N234 was canned the 234th day of the year 2010 = Aug. 22, in the full season of production of tomatoes, so I have a reasonable certainty that the content is fresh.
If the symbol was N350 (canned tomatoes the 350th day of 2010) that on December 20, I would have reasonable assurance that the contents had been used frozen tomatoes.
